Sidnee
We lost our beloved Sidnee on December 8, 2007
She gave us the pleasure of being a constant loyal member of our family for 13 years. I remember the first day I went to get her - she cried all the way to our house - her new home. Within a couple days she was officially comfortable in her new home. She was such a wonderful dog. She watched over her family and held our hands during some difficult times. If she wanted attention she would come up behind you and stick her head right between your legs - we called it her way of hugging. She loved the beach, Tim, her Nana's visits, the snow, bones, and company. She used to love rolling on to her back on top of a bone and then try to reach the bone while on her back - it was her own hide and seek game. She even loved Coco (our pug).
I stayed with her to the end on that day of December 8 - it was so sad but also so peaceful. It was one of the hardest things I've been through. I believe she was ready to go - she didn't want to suffer anymore. I miss and cry for her everyday.
